Join us for a fireside chat with Newton Howard followed by a reception.  Newton Howard is a brain and cognitive scientist whose recent work includes articles on neuromorphic computing and frameworks for understanding consciousness.  His current research areas include development of functional brain and neuron interfacing. Areas of expertise include quantum biology, brain modeling, machine learning, and a background in theoretical mathematics. He founded the Mind Machine Project at MIT.  In addition to his research interests, Howard is an inventor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.  Sponsored by AI at Yale.

Location and Parking Tips

Enter either from York Street through the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning (street access) or from Wall Street (pedestrian only access).  Metered parking is enforced and rarely available on York.  Closest parking lot is the Shops at Yale lot on the Broadway island (aka 56 Broadway parking lot ($2/hour)).  Additional visitor parking options.
