Newton Howard is a brain and cognitive scientist whose recent work includes articles on neuromorphic computing and frameworks for understanding consciousness. His current research areas include development of functional brain and neuron interfacing. Areas of expertise include quantum biology, brain modeling, machine learning, and a background in theoretical mathematics. He founded the Mind Machine Project at MIT.
