Known Issues
We are aware of the following known issues as of March 11, 2025.
- “Information is not in the document” even when no files have been uploaded
- Description: You may receive responses that refer to uploaded files even when no files have been uploaded. This bug is caused by the agent creating a file store at the beginning of each conversation causing the agent to think files are present even when no files have been uploaded.
- Work-around: While we wait for the bug to be addressed, the message can be ignored. It should not impact the quality of the response.
- Issue uploading multiple files
- Description: Currently, Clarity does not support uploading more than one file at a time. We are working on fixing an issue with uploading multiple files.
- Work-around: Limit uploads to 1 file (consider merging content of multiple files into a single file before uploading).
- Rename chat session does not stick
- Description: Renaming a chat session then immediately creating a new chat will cause the name to revert to the previous name, losing the new name.
- Work-around: After renaming a chat session, visit another chat session or refresh the page before starting a new chat session.
- Downloadable JSON files are not formatted properly
- Description: When asking Clarity to convert a .xlsx or .csv file to JSON, the resulting file may be incorrectly formatted.
- Work-around: Specify in the prompt that you want a properly formatted JSON file.
- Types of uploaded files are not recognized.
- Description: When Clarity is asked to summarize a file, it may take a long time, need more information, or provide a lengthy description of how it determined the file type.
- Work-around: Specifying the file type in the prompt can speed up this process and reduce issues.
- Downloadable file is not linked in chat response.
- Description: Occasionally when Clarity is asked to provide a file for download, the response includes text that says “Download file” but there is no link generated.
- Work-around: Ask Clarity to provide a link to the file in the chat. If that doesn’t work, redo the prompt in another chat session.
