Teams Premium

Teams Premium is an AI-powered copilot designed to enhance your experience within Microsoft Teams, especially regarding meetings. It integrates directly within Teams, providing assistance with various tasks before, during, and after meetings.

Here’s how Teams Premium can assist you:

  • Scheduling and File Sharing: It helps organize meetings, manage invitations, and share files seamlessly.
  • Managing Chat Histories: Navigate through your chat histories, helping you manage and retrieve important discussions without manually searching.
  • Meeting Summaries: Before and after meetings, you can ask questions about specific parts of the meeting. It can refer to the meeting’s transcript to point out where something was discussed, helping you catch up or review details.

However, there are some details to keep in mind:

  • Transcription Dependency: To fully function, the meeting must be transcribed. If transcription isn’t enabled by default, the meeting organizer must activate this feature, and all participants will be notified of the transcription.
  • Restrictions on Usage: It is not available for meetings hosted outside your organization or for ad-hoc meetings (those not scheduled in advance).
  • Limited Media Interaction: While it can handle text-based data, it cannot reference images or files shared within a chat thread.

Teams Premium is particularly useful for keeping track of discussions and decisions in a structured, easy-to-review format, enhancing productivity and ensuring you stay informed on key meeting outcomes.
