Consensus

Pilot available through 12/31/2026

Consensus is an AI-powered search engine that helps faculty, students, and researchers find peer-reviewed literature, conduct literature reviews, and access evidence-based research with proper citations. Create a Consensus account using your yale.edu, ynhh.org, or ynhh.com email for full access to Consensus AI. Please note that you do not need to select an institution from the drop-down menu as part of the registration process. You can also create an account with your Google credentials if you have a Yale Google Workspace (EliApps). Registered users should immediately see a premium icon on the bottom left corner by the account name.

Consensus supports three search modes: Quick, which analyzes ten papers and is good for quick overviews and fact-checking; Pro, which analyzes twenty papers and provides a detailed summary; and Deep, which analyzes fifty papers and is useful for in-depth research and advanced projects.

Yale faculty, students, and researchers have trial access to Consensus through 12/31/2026. Please leave trial feedback via this form. If you have a question about Yale’s use of Consensus, please contact Andy Shimp, andy.shimp@yale.edu.
