Shareable Agent Link

A Shareable Agent Link (also called an Agent Deep Link) is a special URL that takes you directly to a specific agent in Clarity and instantly starts a new conversation with it. It is designed to make it quick and easy to share a specific agent with colleagues, so you can get straight to the agent without any extra navigation steps through the Agent dropdown. A shareable agent link can be created for both Featured and Custom Agents.

Prerequisites for the Shareable Agent Link 

For the shareable agent link to function as intended, the following conditions must be met:

  • The user must have permission to access the Clarity User Portal.
  • The user must have permission to access the specified agent. For Custom Agents the owner of that agent would need to have granted you permission to access the agent.
  • The specified agent must be active and available (not expired or deleted).

How to Get a Shareable Agent Link

Follow these steps to copy a shareable link for an agent and share it with other users:

  1. Authenticate and login to the User Portal.
     
  2. Navigate to Settings which will show the list of Agents that you have access to.

  1. Select the option to copy the link for the desired agent (e.g., “Gemini 2.5 Flash”).
     
  2. The link is now in your clipboard. 
     
  3. A confirmation message will appear on screen confirming the link was copied successfully.
     
  4. Paste and distribute the link with your intended user(s). Please note that Clarity is accessible to Yale users only. Therefore, shareable agent links should not be posted on public-facing websites or platforms where non-Yale users may have access.

Note: Accessing a shareable agent link will always start a new conversation. It will never open or resume an existing conversation thread.
